Call all fashion professionals: JOIN US OCTOBER 9TH

Join us for a panel on AR/VR in fashion at the Riveter on October 9, 2019 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm

This month we look to the future  --  which, let's face it, is now  --  and the application of how Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR)  can be   -- and are being  --   applied to fashion and retail. In this engaging discussion, we’ll walk through the development of this technology and its application for the wider fashion industry. Plus, because Austin has an opportunity to build its fashion industry as an innovation center, we'll be learning about how this tech can be applied now to various business applications within our local industry.

AFI events have previously featured many notable Austin-based brands including PennyLuck, Amberleaf, Esby, Kendra Scott, SXSW, BigCommerce, Howler Brothers, Helm Boots, among others. Austin Fashion Initiative meetup events are open to any professional participating in the fashion and creative industries. Join us for engaged networking, great conversation and special treats with Austin’s most innovative fashion business professionals.

We love hosting our curated events in partnership with those who amplify Austin's style. Special thanks to The Riveter and Serendipity Wines.
